How to buy a used woodworking machine
Instructions
1
Check your local pawn shops, used hardware stores and local newspaper listings. Oftentimes, local woodworkers sell their used tools when they upgrade to new ones, so chances are you'll find a used woodworking router locally.
2
Go to Machinery Masters online and click on "Routers" located at the top of the page. Machinery Masters is an online website that specializes in selling used woodworking tools at discount prices. Browse the routers offered, and either call or email about any you are interested in for more information.
3
Go to Machinery Frontier online and click on "Routers" located in the vertical navigation bar titled "Woodworking Machinery" on the left side of the page. This will load a web page containing all used woodworking routers offered by sellers. Select "Request More Info," and enter your information into the next screen; provide your email address and phone number, so the seller may contact you and you may inquire about the product and price.
4
Go to Production Machinery online, which is another online used woodworking-tool retailer. Click on "Used Search" located in the horizontal navigation bar at the top of the page and select "Routers" from the drop down menu next to "Type of Equipment." Add the selected woodworking router to your basket and proceed to checkout with your debit or credit card once you have found the router you would like to buy.
5
Search for a used router on Craigslist and EBay. These are popular websites that contain everything from clothing to machinery and tools. You can search for items close to your region on these sites and either arrange a meeting place to complete your exchange or set up a shipping arrangement.
