How to Use a Belt Drive in a CNC Router

Clean off the pulleys within the CNC machine with a cloth before wrapping the belt through the pulley system to create the belt drive.

Wrap the belt around the pinion pulleys that are located on both the "X" and "Y" axis within the CNC router. The pinion pulleys work with the motor to pull the belt so it holds the gantry. The gantry allows the CNC router to move freely so it can cut intricate patterns and shapes.

Test run the CNC router to ensure the belt drive is working properly before you use the machine for work.
